Japan EHS Audit Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") maintains an independent and objective stance when providing audit and consulting businesses related to EHS and ESG, always acting with the customer's interests as the top priority.
We establish and comply with this policy to appropriately manage situations where our interests or the interests of other customers conflict with the interests of a specific customer (hereinafter referred to as "Conflict of Interest") and to ensure that the customer's interests are not unjustly harmed.
This policy applies to the Company's officers, employees, and all partners involved in our business (hereinafter collectively referred to as "we").
We recognize the following acts that may unjustly harm the customer's interests as acts of Conflict of Interest and strive to prevent them:
Providing advice or judgments that are disadvantageous to the customer in order for the Company or ourselves to gain profit.
Using confidential information obtained from one customer for the benefit of another customer.
Simultaneously providing significant consulting services to a third party in a competitive relationship with the customer, thereby harming the customer's interests.
Receiving personal benefits from a business partner and unjustly favoring that partner in service provision to the customer.
Any other acts that may cast doubt on our independence or objectivity or damage the relationship of trust with the customer.
The Company maintains and operates the following system to appropriately manage conflicts of interest:
We appoint a manager responsible for centrally managing conflicts of interest and build an internal management system.
In executing business, we constantly recognize potential conflict of interest situations and identify/evaluate their possibility. If a risk of conflict of interest is identified, it is promptly reported to the responsible manager.
If a risk of conflict of interest is recognized, the Company will protect the customer's interests by selecting or combining the following methods or other appropriate methods:
The Company conducts continuous education and training so that all of us correctly understand and comply with this policy and related regulations.
The Company will legally and continuously review this policy and management system based on legal amendments and changes in social conditions and strive for improvement.
